Child Care Enviroment:
Munchkinland Family Child Care exists to provide a safe, loving, supportive, and educational environment for all the children in our care. We believe children feel more comfortable and function best in a small group of friends and with a familiar, consistent caregiver. Also, it is beneficial for every child to have a warm, positive relationship with adults and peers, this helps to develop a sense of trust and a feeling of worth in a child. Children learn best when in an atmosphere of safety and trust. At Munchkinland Family Child Care an enriched, stimulating environment filled with child initiated learning adventures will be provided. They will be encouraged to explore materials and ideas and to understand that what they do is important and has an effect on others. The children will be offered the opportunity to learn and develop the skills, attitudes and the knowledge necessary to becoming an independent, productive individual.

Mission
It is my goal to provide the best quality care for children in a safe, loving and stimulating environment. I provide care for children in a family style setting and I want each child to develop a good self concept to learn about themselves and to express their feelings. In my care our learning activities include: alphabet, numbers, storytime and field trips. In addition to outside play, I have a big garage which is designed for the needs of the children.
