About Myself & Family:
I was born and raised in Salisbury, MD. I grew up in a home where my own mother was a licensed provider for 20 years. She taught me how to unconditionally love & support each and every child that came into our home. Wanting to stay at home with my own children I followed in her footsteps. I have been in the Family Child Care field for 16 years as a Provider, Co-Provider and Substitute (1991-2001 & 2004-present). I am a past member & treasurer of a former daycare association in Salisbury back in the 90's. I am currently a member of this Association (PFPALS) and the Lower Shore Chld Care Resource Center through Salisbury University, both of which provide support, education and trainings to assist providers in our chosen profession.
My husband Greg & I have been married since January 1992. We have four beautiful daughters together, Caitlyn, Kelsey, Carley & Cassidy. Caitlyn (1994) & Kelsey (1995) both attend Parkside High School, and are busy with Soccer, Lacrosse & Track. They both have taken the babysitting CPR class at PRMC. They are great helpers when they are here. Carley (2004) attends Fruitland Primary and is very active. Last but not least, Cassie (2007), our baby,
is still at home with mommy and her favorite friends. In addition to our family we have a dog, Mulligan, she is a long-haired dachsund. Mully, as we call her, is great with kids but likes to sneak their cookies if the opportunity arises. Greg works for Mountaire Farms in DE as an IT Manager. He is very involved with the community & the girls' sports. He's been a Fruitland Volunteer Fireman since 1994. He also has his EMT certification and can aid the paramedics. He has assisted in coaching the girls' soccer teams for many years and became Assistant Coach for Parkside Girls Varisty Soccer Team in 2009.
We are a busy family but know the importance of love and support. They are the key to raising our children. I hope you choose to join us and become part of our extended family.
