My Child Care Environment:  Joyful Noise Childcare is a small, multi-age, Christian childcare. My program offers a  bright friendly playroom,  a  fenced in backyard, and  nutritious meals. I offer a literature based curriculum which a lines with the Maryland Voluntary State Curriculum for preschool.  By Sharing God’s love and grace, Joyful Noise Childcare strives to provide a quality childcare experience for all children by creating relationships which foster open, honest communication between parents, myself and the children. This creates an environment for each child to feel safe and secure, which will allow them to learn and grow to develop to their fullest potential physically, emotional, socially, and cognitively.

About Me: My name is Cherry Conley. My husband and I have four daughters age 11 to 18 years. I have been providing childcare since 1992. I began my career in childcare as a means to make a living and stay home with my own children after several negative childcare  experiences with my oldest daughter. Since then I have gone through the process of becoming nationally accredited by the National Association of Family Childcare and obtained my CDA (Child Developement Associate Certificate).  Recently, I completed the Maryland Model for School Readiness (MMSR) training.  The process of obtaining these credentials has changed my mission. While I still strive to provide a safe nurturing environment; I also aim to help each child grow, so that she or he will be “ready to learn” when they start school. We still do a lot of playing, but now the playing has a purpose.  I am continuing my education as I work toward a bachelors degree in Child Development.  Currently, I am serving as Office of Child Care Liaison for PFPALS.  To learn more about me and my program please visit my web site.
