My Child Care Setting: My program focuses on school readiness. We learn through our play experiences. I have a flexible daily schedule that we follow. I have a big backyard where the children can play and get lots of exercise. I have a wide variety of toys, books and other materials for all age groups. I sit on the floor and interact with the children on their eye level. I have one indoor dog. My home is absolutely smoke free. I provide all meals and snacks.
About Me: I was born and raised in the Princess Anne area. I have one son (1996) of my own. I was married to my husband, Dale, in 2007. I love to do craft projects, read and scrap booking. As a family, we like to hunt and fish. We love the outdoors and nature. On a professional level, I exceed the recommended hours that I must have to keep my license current. I am currently working on becoming a Credentialed Family Child Care Provider through Maryland State Department of Education. Currently, I am on the Board of the Professional Family Provider Association of the Lower Shore.

Horsey's Daycare has been in operation since 1972, providing day, evenings and overnight childcare.
I've been privileged to care for several children who are now very successful. Many have received their Bachelors and Masters degrees. One of my former children is about to obtain a Doctoral degree. These children are working as doctor's preachers, teachers, and nurses. This makes me very proud. I'm also proud to say that I am now caring for some of the children's children who attended my daycare.
